A new UK proposal requires that all new homes be equipped with the ability to charge electric vehicles. In addition to residential areas, enterprise buildings, service stations near highways, and street parking spaces are also required to be equipped with electric vehicle charging piles. To complete this infrastructure project, the UK government will invest 400 million pounds ($530 million) to fund companies that produce and install charging piles.
