This robotic flower pot allows plants to grow their feet and move freely

The animals raised in the house are only cats, dogs and cats. These animals will only exercise, but if you keep the plants in such a pot, they will still run and jump.

For example, it will wave to you:

Excited dancing

Hug

Knocking on the head, not happy~

Soak in the sun, hide

Unhappy shaking his head

Going to the window to sunbathe

Well, this pot has six feet of plants, six feet from its flower pot – a hexagonal robotic pot HEXA developed by a unique Chinese team.

The company that created the HEXA robot is called Vincross, and the founder is Sun Tianqi, a network technology red man.

Outside the network, Sun Tianqi has begun an internship at Microsoft Research Asia, and two years later went to Tsinghua as a researcher to study biomedical and neural networks.

On one occasion, when Sun Tianqi saw the sunflower exhibition in Orson, he found a withered sunflower. Because the sun was blocked by the transformer next to it, the sunflower could not see the sun all day long, and he pulled down his head and withered.

Compared with the healthy growing sunflower next to it, this sunflower is particularly pitiful. It is only 1 meter away from the sun and can survive if you move 1 meter.

However, sunflowers do not have long legs and cannot move by themselves to look for sunlight.

So, Sun Tianqi created a long-legged flowerpot that can detect water and sunlight through sensors and move to a place with water and sunlight.

Later, this robot caused the attention of teacher Xu Xiaoping, the real fund. When Xu Xiaoping mentioned Sun Tianqi, he praised him as a genius, so Vincross got a $1 million investment from Zhenge Fund. After the product was gradually formed, Zhenge and GGV Jiyuan Capital continued to invest in the Vincross A round of $6 million.

The products are sold in more than 40 countries and are welcomed by geeks. Last summer, he also boarded a list of 30 Forbes business leaders under the age of 30.

Take a look at the finished HEXA:

The joints are flexible and writhing.

Sensitive climbing stairs

You can walk on the ground, or you can adapt to the outdoor terrain.

Even climbed the top of the giant rock.

The HEXA, which is so flexible and adaptable to all kinds of outdoor terrain, has even attracted the attention of terrorists in the Middle East. "Chinese Entrepreneur" told Sun Tianqi an interview: They received an order mail from a person named "Zen", claiming to be a children's programming education company, and need to order 120 HEXAs, which are shipped to Syria and Jordan.

Moreover, this "Zen" is very concerned about the remote control distance and load of HEXA.

At that time, Sun Tianqi felt strange: Why should children use robots for programming? And this person's screen name is really too strange.

After checking the news, Sun Tianqi found the problem: the two receiving addresses in Syria and Jordan are the most frequent places in the global suicide terrorist attacks. Subsequently, he declined the order that the big probability was from terrorists.

The future of HEXA: Going to Mars or saving people?

However, what is the use of this HEXA robot besides raising flowers? After all, it’s not easy to make six legs and a bunch of sensors. It’s just a matter of growing flowers.

In this regard, Sun Tianqi revealed his thoughts in Xtecher's interview: HEXA has all-terrain walking ability
.
On the platform, HEXA can do a lot of things, such as exploring space, going to Mars, going to the deep sea, going to the center of the earth;

Or solve the ethical problem in the disaster: Why should the soldiers and firefighters who went to rescue must be brave and fearless, and most ordinary people can hide far away? Letting robots "sacrifice" may be a more ethical way than sacrificing human heroes.
